On the topic of success and what to tell a young man/woman out of college.
The book mentioned on the OT before; The Millionaire Mind , states that many people who have achieved success, (be it, fortune, fame or power) have also known at least one great failure in life.
They might have started a business that failed or taken the completely wrong route in school then had to re-train.
It also helps to know how one defines success and happiness.
“Sorry, jackal, but I’m totally visualizing you as Uncle Fester now.”
ROFL. If anyone on the OT has enough surplus internal charge to light a lightbulb by sticking it in his mouth, it’s jackal. I recently watched an old episode with my kid in which Fester lost his charge and was visisted a doctor. Registered a temp of 4 degrees below zero, but cured himself by eating a thermometer. Seems he had a mercury deficiency.
Slopey, I figured you’d enjoy the Uncle Fester reference. And Biff and DeLepp. Same vintage all.
As DeLepp is my witness, I shall never go covered in glitter again.
“Maybe a could rent a few 20 something kids.”
Don’t you already, dave???
dibs — you are going to rent some 20-somethings and do elementary school science projects and armpit farts? Now that’s deviance.
I wonder if I’m missing out by not having children to do these sorts of projects with. Maybe a could rent a few 20 something kids.
