Jester, that is why Lenovo asked for the “IBM” and “ThinkPad” branding rights after it bought the unit from IBM. prior to it’s purchase, Lenovo was simply a late to the game chinese computer company.
my old work laptop a few years ago was a lenovo. pretty snazzy and never had any problems compared the HPs we had before (and the fingerprint reader was boss)
Jester, guess you weren’t around when I ranted that Lenovo thinkpad is not the same as IBM thinkpad. it’s still a decent laptop but it no longer warrant the same respect & expectations as garnered by the old IBM thinkpads.
Just in case you needed more reasons to be upset/irritated with the Brooklyn Hasidic community, one of the papers published the picture from the White House Situation room during the Osama operations, but edited out the two women in the room.

Are gauchies the same as knickers? Is it pronounced as in gaucho or gauche? (i.e. ‘gow/cow’ or go/ho?)

Enjoy, IJ- I’ve heard great thing about Lenovo.
BHS- maybe we don’t need to harp on the subject? There must be more important things to be upset or irritated about.
I’m loyal and after all my research, it was an easy decision. I also enjoy how no one seems to have heard of Lenovo.

bxgrl, I hate to interrupt your efforts to find a bed for the night, but do try and keep up.
We took a vote, and bfarwell has been renamed “bfar” in the OT.
