  1. Currently only 17 states provide medicaid funding for abortion (New York being one of them). As such, Mitch Daniels was not out of the mainstream in signing that piece of legislation (whether you agree with it or not).

    Gail Collins panning a Republican candidate is an excellent example of my point about being disingenuous. It is disingenuous to provide advice to a group that you have no interest whatsoever in seeing it succeed.

  2. Another state passed laws requiring women to have an ultrasound before an abortion. I can’t find out though if it was a vaginal ultrasound or not. Women should not standing up for their rights, not getting steamrollered.

  3. Was it just me, or was that Gail Collins editorial poorly written?

    It started off by making fun of the state of Indiana, then went on a meandering journey through a variety of states while not spending all that much time on Collins.

    I think I agree with the overall idea, but the liberals really need to field better columnists.
