Speaking of medicaid: kudos to Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona for her proposal to charge a $50 premium to Medicaid recipients who smoke (the proceeds of which will go to restore medicaid services that have been cut due to budget constraints).
Now THIS is health-care reform: incentivizing people to assume more responsibility for their own well-being.
“Gail Collins panning a Republican candidate is an excellent example of my point about being disingenuous. It is disingenuous to provide advice to a group that you have no interest whatsoever in seeing it succeed.”
And how is that different from anything the Republicans are doing, or the NY Post for that matter.
As far as Daniels, what mainstream? Stripping Planned Parenthood of funds- of which only a small amount went towards abortions, damages all the programs they run. The war on women’s rights is producing a lot of collateral damage. So much for Daniels telling Republicans to stop concentrating on social issues.
DIBS, just because there’s more foolish bullshit pricing with other firms doesnt justify or outweigh fact a ton more established & profitable firms are priced less than LinkedIn’s multiple

Yeah, ‘cuz the other side of the political spectrum would NEVER do that.
Bxgrl;
I am not exonerating the New York Post.
When a columnist from the NYP or NYT writes: I support party “x” or candidate “y” for this reason, that’s fine.
When a columnist from the NYP or the NYT writes: I am opposed to candidate “x” or party “y” or policy “z” for the following reasons, that’s fine.
When a columnist pretends to be giving advice to a party or candidate that they have no interest in whatsoever, it’s disingenuous.
It should be a much higher charge, benson.
I don’t think the Peruvian is speaking to me.

Wll, you’re the expert in disingenuity.
“I stepped out for a while. Now I’m back.”
Where did you go, dave? Peru???
