If Romney wanted to say something, he should have said that all this ridiculous birther talk is detracting the duly elected president from taking care of more important issues, like the economy, wars, the deficit, etc. He would have told Trump and the birthers to get over it, that the matter had been settled BEFORE the election, and that he, and the other members of the Republican party were calling “enough” on this.
You may be a very logical thinker and it seems you always take the righteous high road on most issues. Therefore, you have no skills whatsoever when it comes to thinking like a politician!!!! 🙂

I wish Obama had asked for the exception and gotten his birth certificate 2 years ago. I assume he was trying to take the moral high ground and ignore the personal attacks, but it should have been clear that they were not going away.
On the other hand, I guess that 90%+ of the people who thought he was born outside of the US still think he is a radical Islamic terrorist-lover.
I gave my fish away on craigslist. The aquarium as well.
It’s probably more humane just to kill them quickly Dona. And you’ll make some cat happy in the process.
Lech, I wouldn’t kill them. I would give them to my nephews to care for them. Which probably amounts to the
same thing.
mopar, I was forced to go to some one day seminar at an outplacement (my severance depends on my doing certain things I am told). I was prepared (as I am at all these things) to shut up.
I was also surprised to find that the person was surprisingly helpful and human and two other colleagues (doing radically different functions) and I wound up talking about the shit show we lived for 18 months in a new way. It put my brain on a different channel. It was very helpful.
Dona, I would not hestitate to kill a couple of fish if I had to move abroad or something and I couldn’t find someone to take them. Just feed them to a cat or something. Done.
