    Except for Goyim Nuts, I’ve never heard that nuts were not Kosher for Passover. In fact, my grandmother always had bowls of mixed nuts out at her house.

  2. Do you have a year? Is this a trivia question?

    I would guess that China has held U.S. Treasuries at least since the breakdown of Bretton Woods in 1971, and very likely before then.

  3. China has been buying US Treasuries for as long as they have had trade surplus with us.
    It’s the easiest thing to do with all those dollars we keep giving them in exchange for goods.

    There are also monetary policy reasons for other countries to hold U.S. Treasuries.
