in all honesty, randi- I never knew that either. I never used the term anyway, but I never knew it’s implications. I never even heard the word before rob started using it.
someone complained that “moonface” is used insults to Japanese people. I know rob didn’t realize that – whereas coonfaceh8r absolutely knew what he was doing.
Thanks, slope4eva. He is in North Shore Hosp. and I have been very impressed. The nurses are honest and listen to me. He has an excellent gerontologist who is on his way to see my dad and I am waiting to hear from him. When we first went to the ER, the 911 guys wouldn’t take him to North Shore because it was too far. I am so glad the first emergency room agreed to transfer him.
thanks arkady. I know that. He didn’t have any morphine since the recovery room on Friday, so the reaction was delayed. I know it’s pretty normal, especially at his age, but very scary to see, of course. I am looking forward to being able to laugh about it, but not yet!
arkady, snappy- check your email 🙂

Benson- are you sure? They look like backstairs, not just fire escapes, to me. There is a similar ones on the side of a building here in CHN.
