When I refresh in safari, the sort keeps defaulting to “oldest first” even though I set it to “newest first. ” I’m not having that problem on firefox or IE
I don’t know what it could be- I have far less trouble now than I did with the old site and haven’t had to relog in at all (unless I’ve manually logged out).
I think I want to get this book. I agree with him about sprawling suburbanism, a couple of other points I don’t fully agree with him on but it may be because I’m reading only a summary article, not the whole book. I’ll look for it- thanks.
One thing I had to disagree with- the author wrote that the boards are staffed by amateurs. I think looking at the credentials of people on the LPC and Historic Preservation Council would show that isn’t the case.
Very strange. It’s a lot faster for me than the old site was. What browser are you using? Has it been this slow for you since we moved to the new site?
One thing to make sure is that your browsers, flash and javascript settings are all up to date.

I agree although I think they are still bringing over content from the old site. Maybe.
I use firefox4 and IE9. I have safari- I’ll check how it runs on that.
