I don’t doubt that it’s a cost to the government, in most circumstances I don’t see it as a cost to the economy.

The government, whether it be federal, state or local, does not operate in the real world. Some of these entities think that they can tax their way out of their problems but the “shellacking” gave them the answer to that!!!!!
