  1. Dona- took her the other day but you can easily tell- the one eye is completely white with a dark black spot. No iris. The other looks like it has a cloudy tissue over it but with time that might clear up more as it did with one of my cats who had the same infection. But she’s very smart- already walks around the place, avoiding obstacles and comes when I call.

  2. Howl (at Twinkies)

I had a Hostess Ho Ho on the F as it passed over the Gowanus and I saw the best Snowballs of my bodega destroyed by madness, starving hysterical hordes, dragging themselves through the cupcaked streets at dawn looking for an angry fix of Devil Dogs, angel-food frosted,
Dirty Hipsters and Little Debbies burning for the ancient heavenly connection to the starry and cream-filled dynamo in the machinery of the Ring Ding factory beneath a sugary firmament.

  3. look at this entitlement!!!!

    NYCHA Developments and cable/satellite.

    ——————————————————————————–

Is cable/satellite (DirecTV/DishNetwork) installation allowed in these complexes? My father likes to watch this horse racing show that airs every other day and it’s only on satellite tv.

    Thank You

“Nycha is it! They only give out contracts to one cable provider and that is the only cable provider we are allowed to use for the whole development..furthermore satellite dishes are not allowed on public housing developments. Management says that their is no secure way of knowing that the dishes are secured…i so hate this…why are we only allowed to have one cable provider to chose from i hate it…if we had 3 or 5 our prices will be a lot cheaper.. Nycha tenants don’t have that option to exercise i wish someone will start a petition to get this policy revoked..

  4. COTD has devolved into a discussion of “breeding”. I just threw a wrench into the proceedings by pointing out that there are other meanings for breeding beyond being an a derogatory term for reproduction. I suspect some folks here have something to add. > > >

  5. “They used to say things like, “Come here. What are you doing? Get off my keyboard. Sit on my shoulder. Don’t eat my dinner. Silly bird.””

If my cats had the power of mimicry, they would say remarkably similar things. Plus “off the counter, NOW!” “don’t scratch the couch” “you’re so bad” and “get out of the friggin’ sink.”
