Shadyside and Squirrel Hill are definitely the best places to live. But VERY expensive. South Side offers a lower price option but still cute homes and decent access. Just stay away from East Liberty and Homewood – YIKES!
jessi, we’re looking for a place with some urban vibe. Not a place where you have to drive everywhere. IOW, a place where you can walk out of the house and buy some stuff, see a few restaurants, etc.
I don’t know if a place like this exists any more outside of SF and NYC, lol.
We also hear good things about Asheville. Anyone been there?
That lawyer just told me I was prurient. None of my other tricks even know what that means

East side of Pittsburgh (Shadyside, Squirrel Hill) would be the nicest place to live within the city IMO.
Circling back…when I think about Philly…I think of Cream Cheese. Mooooo. : P
