My dad belonged to a union as well, at least for a while. Don’t think he ever minded, but he didn’t have any choice initially..
My grandfather (mother’s father) refused to join a union, and lost jobs because of it.
“I don’t know of any who pick up groceries, they don’t have the funding to do that. Just call them, ask them what they need. Buy the stuff and take it to them.â€
Thanks for the list, BSM. I could have sworn I got a plastic bag in the mail that I was supposed to fill up for pick up. Maybe I misread it and I was supposed to take it to the pantry myself.

My mother’s first job at she immigrated was as a maid. She retired as a comptroller for a major bank.
