Good for him. There really is no point in going to high school. Everyone makes a big deal about it but there’s no reason to go if you don’t want to.
Pete – Just scan the pix & store them in a file until you have all the ones you want & then transfer to thumb drive or dvd or whatever. Might be fun to get him a digital frame & have the pix loaded onto it.

Petebklyn, I am doing the same thing and will get some kind of a memory stick instead of a disk. Scanning is easy – do you have a 3-way printer – scanner, printer, copier? They are cheap now. I haven’t exactly begun my project but will begin by calling a friend who knows how. I think he will come over and get me started. I am told that with the memory stick one can add photos to it, and with the disk one cannot add to it. Where are all the people who know about this to answer Pete’s question? Denton?

Red Apple Child Development Center is a chain of daycare-preschools. My daughter went there for a little over a year. (One of her Chinese teachers left for a waitress job in West Virginia because it paid better. But that was a long time ago!) Continuing a Brownstoner tradition of childless gay men commenting on parenting issues, Pete commented on the thread.
