Legion’s Baby Advice (Take it or Leave it)
-Get a crib monitor which senses vibrations with a sensor pad placed beneath the bed and an audio-com which you can place on your night stand.
-Get a name book and go through all the names listing your top ten, then let your significant other do the same.
Compare notes for cross matches and there’s your name.
-Get some gas drops for the baby, many babies experience gas problems (you would too if you never ate before!)
-If bottle feeding, get the type that create a vacum so as to limit the gas/air intake when eating. Dr. Brown’s is one good brand.
-Zinc Oxide, use it to prevent diaper rash.
-Pick a stroller which can convert from a pram to a bed to a stroller, all in one. No need storing 3 baby transports in your hallway, it makes everyone angry including the baby.
-Make sure you have a baby car seat for the ride home, the nurse won’t let you go without it! Yes, the nurse will literally keep the baby until you get one.
-Buy like 20 all cotton diapers, for use as all purpose wipes, not for use as diapers. For diapers use biodegradable disposable ones.
