“Jess – Is there a studying showing that most embezzlers have bad credit?”

Ok – so what you guys are saying is, just because you have bad credit, it doesn’t mean it’s because you did something illegal. But it might mean you aren’t good with money management, of course, it might not. All I’m saying is had my brother’s credit report been run by his last employer, there’s no way he would have been hired and therefore no way that he would have stolen his client’s insurance premiums.

In certain industries, it’s just not worth the risk. Better to be shut out of those positions and try a different field.

da kid lost a job cuz her credit got mixed up with someone else’s credit. HR didn’t want to hear about it. Fortunately she ended up with a better job. If there’s gonna be a law allowing employers to check credit reports there should be a law allowing rebuttal by the employee.

yeah, i’d actually be more chary of people with stellar credit. usually they are the really shady ones.
