What’s wrong is for decisions to be arbitrarily made on the basis of one criterion. An individual should be permitted to explain the circs of a given rating – except that takes time, intelligence & effort. Nice that BHS’s co. showed swome flexibility.
No, Snaps, eye doc hasn’t had lasik that I know of – been going to him for 30+ years.
I’m not going to debate what type of music breeds more violence. Drunks are obnoxious and sometimes violent. That being said, the only fight I ever saw outside South Paw was during a rock show.
but judging someone based on their credit history is just as bad as judging someone based on race. honestly, HOW is it even different?

No one chooses their race. A credit history is established through the financial choices you make along the way. But of course you wouldn’t know about that. Broke ass…
There absolutely should be a rebuttal opportunity if credit is being used as the reason to deny a job. But let’s face it, how many companies will be honest about that being the reason?

All you need is to be laid off, go to the hospital, or have some other emergency that sucks up vast amounts of money, and boom, your credit is toast. Most people need, duh! a steady job to start to make it right again. Really, really unfair.
exactly! said in a way better than i was able to say it
“some people dont even know what credit is….some people are just born with poor economic judgement.”
Seems entirely rational to keep these people out of jobs involving money.
I agree with denton’s point about employers needing to accept that there can be mistakes in credit reports / obtaining them, and that employees should have a right to reply.

I just think the women on PSP are well-to-do and have lots of money so they can afford ideal options whether they stay home or work out of the home.
days i have off from work and walk around park slope it’s like another world. it’s almost stepford wives-like, but frumpier.

“jessi, would NYPerks on smith street be considered a hiphop club? when do people use term ‘club’ as opposed to bar or lounge?”
lol, Pete. Why you asking me? I’m being attacked for my beliefs w/r/t credit reports, not hip hop clubs!
