When I talk about Clubs I mean dance clubs – i.e. in the olden days when I went to dance clubs it was in places like Tunnel, Cheetah, Palladium, Two Eyes, Mars,Limelight even Nell’s. Some were stricly hip hop clubs where they would exclusively play hip hop/R&B/Reggae most nights – while other clubs (like the Palladium had “hip hop” nights)
The difference is whether the establishment has something called a Cabaret license which allows its patrons to gather and dance inside – many lounges/bars do not have that license

And yes, I can see the reason for running a credit report on someone seeking a job where they have direct access to someone else’s money. Although I think a criminal report might be more appropriate!

That being said – I’ve been to a few shows there with different crowds and nothing popped off
HOWEVER….. people paying $15 to see LIVE performers is usually a different crowd going to a DANCE club –

when do people use term ‘club’ as opposed to bar or lounge?
When there are velvet ropes and a bouncer who’s dumber looking than a union guy

credit history is established through the financial choices you make along the way. But of course you wouldn’t know about that. Broke ass…
East New York – I hope you never have a catastophic illness that was not covered by your insurance company and leave you unable to work.
