I had one of those catastrophic medical emergencies. Mt employer at the time had stopped paying for medical insurance and never told anyone. Nor did we get contacted by the insurer that we were no longer covered. I found out when I started getting bills for tens of thousands of dollars. And then the husband left because I was told I couldn’t have children and he wanted kids. It sucks to be judged on stuff that you had no control over, and you’re struggling. At the same time, I have always gotten great reports on jobs and never stole so much as a paperclip.

g10, my kid is not sticky to us cause he has a bunch of different people babysitting him during the week. I dont like when a kid is crazy-glued to parents and cries everytime someone else wants to play or hold the kid. So from my experience, I think it’s a huge plus that a few folks watch over him during the week.
