jessi- It’s not an acceptable, but unfortunate consequence. More people get hurt than people like your brother get found out. And look at Madoff- I’m sure his credit report was great. As were the credit reports of the biggest embezzlers and rip off artists in the finance industry. Your brother is small potatoes. How did he get his job in the first place? He must have had good references and a great resume.
East New York – I hope you never have a catastophic illness that was not covered by your insurance company and leave you unable to work.

Yeah, so do I.
OK, for the record: people who have catastrophic illnesses which leave them unable to work and thereby have their credit histories ruined do NOT choose to have this happen. But I don’t think this applies to most folks with poor credit histories, and this certainly doesn’t sound like Rob’s problem.
dave thanks again for doing the taxes, question, is there a place i can go to where i can get money immediately? even if there is a charge? instead of waiting for the government to send it? if it’s a small fee i think im going to do that, if it’s an absurd amount tho i dont think i will, but im not sure where to go for that.
I don’t mean to sound like I lack compassion for those with credit issues due to medical bills. If my mother weren’t married to a man with excellent health insurance (teacher) then she would be in the same exact situation. And it would be a terrible shame and injustice if you were denied a job due to your credit being hurt by something like this, but if that’s an unfortunate consequence of getting to weed out people like my brother from those positions, I’m okay with it. Not all industries run credit reports. I’ve never had mine run (to my knowledge).

I’ve had sex in my office. I think that might be more frowned upon than stealing Post Its”
I think that happens WAY more than people think……
I know, BSM. And Arkady- our little club should incorporate 🙂
Esqualita??
yep, odd place. People sit on the floor when drag show starts.
Also one gets “patted” down when entering. Unless you’re into overweight thugs, not all that sexy.
Play nice, losers. I’m out.
