  1. the shipper I used was based in LIC- the name is I.T.S. -you can speak to Joe or Clark or Jerome… however the pricing I got might have been b/c I worked for a huge corporation and we used them almost every day to ship packages around the world – but talk about fast, reliable and cheap!

  2. It’s just irresistible to pop the happy bubble of Brooklyn liberals (and let a bit of reality in). Wonder if Gov. Cuomo will have Albany occupied by union/leftists a la Madison soon. Opinions?

  3. yeah, I saw that article and thought – well, gee, with name like that I’d guess he’s white- and wouldn’t that add fuel to fire of police and ‘driving while black’ (or whatever the expression is) .
and did he have a permit for a glock?

  4. I think whoever gets the GOP nomination will have a very difficult time unless they can knock off their opponents in the first few primaries. There are many very energized very right people out there, and the longer the primary season goes on the further to the right candidates will go to win them.

By the time the general election comes around, there will be a huge library of sound bites to turn off moderates who don’t love Obama, but would never vote for someone who said (fill in far right position on various issues)

Romney will have some difficulties in the primaries with what he did in MA–at the very least because what actually happened is nuanced, and may be too nuanced to communicate to the public. But if wins the primaries, it will be very hard to paint him as the demonic Republican yoo libs and lefties hate.

So I think Romney, with his deep private sector successes, has a shot. Maybe with Christie as VP? Or Jan Brewer of AZ?
