“BRG, I’ll be at your place once I’m done stuffing myself at MM’s house :)â€
I’m guising myself up and putting the olives on the table.
THL: I also grew up eating olives (hey, I’m Mediterranean). Even as a child I loved olives. My mother always said she was going to sell me to the ‘Olive Man’. Back in the Old Country, a man with a cart would go around selling olives, door to door.
When I first saw an Olive tree in Europe, I ran up to it and hugged it.
I always have at least 5 different types of olives in my frig.
MM…there’s a Murray’s in Grand Central market…on my way home from the office. They had the cheese there but just added the meats a few weeks ago. The prosciutto di parma was great and not badly priced either.
Nothing better than prosciutto and fresh figs!!!!!
Snappy, this isn’t like normal “not working” this “not working” is like a club. I know SOOOOO many people that aren’t working. It’s got nothing to do with being lazy or not ambitious or for that matter prideful. It’s boils down to almost every company is either laying people off or has a hiring freeze. Yes, there are some jobs out there but the number of highly educated people competing for those jobs is astronomical.
I’m not saying that to make you feel bad I’m saying that so that you understand that it’s nothing to be ashamed of. It’s just the way it is right now.
BRG- Really? Where? My dad’s side is Armenian. I think we grew up with the same palate.
I never heard him divulge it.
Biff, yesterday I was inquiring as to your dating status. I was told that you’d divulged it recently but I’d missed the post.
Do tell (again)!

“Biff is out boning up on his bocce ball skills :)”
Can you please not use “boning up” and “ball skills” in the same sentence??
LOL, yeah I worded that a little ass-backwards didn’t I?
I was home with his cats while he was at work.
“The good life certainly is more expensive than a box of Hamburger Helper.”
You can say that again!
Aw Snappy, that sounds so sad!

No one can fault you for it.
