I would expect no less from gemini complaining about car access from his other posts on cycling (how utterly idiotic to claim he’s diverted so often! wow, 5 times a year, do you live in your car?) but him and brenda, I invite to our Carroll st party. ”

um, sounds like you are calling me a dude – which I don’t care about but still – you did it before and I corrected you nicely. Seems someone has some pre-conceived notions of how a “woman” should act.

  2. Randi, I tried to make it interesting by telling you to go suck a fuck, but that seems to have fizzled. Were you looking for a discussion of probability and statistics? Political debate? We already did strippers.

  3. gem, seriously, explain why “it’s a pain in the ass to be diverted?” … a few times a year… 1 block around ? When I saw that, and reacted.

While I don’t have a car now, I drove all the years (25+) I was living in CA, and enjoyed it, but would not feel the same about a minor rerouting.

  4. “women are wired differently but the problem was using that to keep us from our full potential”

I look at it differently. I have seen lots of circumstances where the “female” approach was just waaaaaay smarter and more effective than the male approach. There are lots of top female execs these days. I think there is a lot of opportunity for women to use their differences to their benefit.

I’m in a people / mental profession of course, where women can really shine. Obviously it’s not the same thing when it comes to firefighting or logging. But in those situations I feel the same way. If a man is better at the job due to natural gifts and disposition, so be it.
