First of all, MM, they are not taking 100% of bargaining power away. the devil is in the details.

So you believe that the union shouldn’t give in on wages and health care and insurance and SOME bargaining power and that 6-10,000 people should lose their jobs.

that is what we’re talking about here. that’s the bottom line. If you believe that then you are as bad and as thick headed as union management.

I can’t say that I know painting enough to tell an original from a masterful copy,
I can however, speak to it in terms of a great work of music or a familiar voice.
You can tell someone’s voice on the phone for certain but even a slight hesitation or change in tone, however small, is enough to set off an internal flag. You’ll say, “what’s wrong? you don’t sound the same.”

so there’s alot of the stuff we don’t know with 100% certainty – we just play along because it makes us feel nice

“You’re saying you can tell the difference. ” I was actually saying there are some people whose eyes are so discerning they can see a difference- not saying I am one of them. I am pretty good with discerning , for instance, antiques and repros- but believe me when I say, I am not an expert.

But yea- I’m fighting the hypo because somehow I feel at the heart of it, it’s wrong but I haven’t figured out how to argue my point. YET. 🙂
