Yep, it is the “other side” for the young people who are looking for love, a date and a mate. BTW, do lawyers say something like: before you go into a contract, look at how you are going to get out of it? I think pre-nups may lessen the getting-back-at-someone syndrome, when things are done in hate. Make those agreements when people are rational. When children come, however, the games change. This really is a “bummer”, as DH wrote.
DCB- I know how you feel. You just wonder why they simply can’t make a clean break and walk away- but no, they have to make you as miserable as possible to boot. In the end I couldn’t even afford a lawyer to protect my interests- he’s living high on the hog in Ca. and I was paying off over 30,000 in medical bills, before the second emergency surgery.I spent most of 3 years barely able to work while I tried to recover. Which is why I hate the sight of instant oatmeal- there was a time it was all I could afford to eat.
After all the divorce talk, I feel depressed but also very grateful that I have never had to go though anything like this.
My parents’ divorce had a few moments of nastiness and psychological warfare, but overall it was pretty clean.
“man – the OT is a real bummer today! 🙁 ”

I think I am going to go home tonight and take my wife of 31 years out to a “thank you for not divorcing me” dinner.
haha denton – it’s just really sad that so many people have had such bad experiences!
nice donatella! almost warm enough to sit outdoors in the evening and drink some wine.
Yeah DH- I’m thinking a good discussion of probabilities would be more cheerful right about now.
And NO! , Lech- do not take me up on that. (same goes for you benson, and Legion) 🙂
Recommended by friend who I think used her also.

Ok, here’s a more cheerful thought. Tomorrow will be in the 60s. I wish it was Saturday, but I’ll take it!!
