jackal, legion and I were discussing whether you might, perchance, encounter any untoward activity on the street on your way back to the office from lunch? If you saw something, say something.
DCB – interesting – I fear that Microsoft needs to reinvent themselves and might be moving too slow to keep up with what will be the next new operating system…..
DH – any bets as to which nabes in Queens will be the “next up and comer”?
Dibs – aye aye aye – no I haven’t been to any Latino Gay bars on Roosevelt Avenue -haaa, is that what BHS was asking about – sorry, am late to the party
there are some fantastic Argitinean Restaurants along 37th avenue in the 80’s, also a lot of great Colombian places and of course unreal Indian places along 74th street. I tried always to stay away from Roosevelt – it scared me as a kid!
rob- it’ against the law. Not that landlords follow those laws but keeping people out of an apartment because they don’t fit your ethnic taste is illegal. I speak from experience- unpleasant experience. It isn’t about curtailing moonfaces. There is nothing wrong with renting to family or friends (after all, how do you think I got my place?) But that isn’t the issue I’m referring to.
The Republican Men’s Lunch Club concluded its weekly meeting a short time ago.
We were surprised to learn that Jessibaby is a Republican and a man, but there she was.
Topics of discussion included realtors, Morocco, whether or not a particular member of the lunch club is comfortable having his boyfriends along on trips to Bangkok, Irvington, Irish car bombs, infidelity in gay couples, CGar, benson, bxgrl, mopar, montrose morris and DH.
These minutes will be filed in the minute book of the club upon approval of the members at the next regularly scheduled meeting.
hi g10. maybe pounded is too strong a word.
there was a lot of hype about microsoft recently, especially because nokia has adopted windows mobile7.
The analysts were hyping msft heavily, and as usually happens in a case like this, the stock is selling off.
there’s alot more going on in queens than you’d think.
queens is definitely next – brooklyn has reached critical mass as far as being way too expensive so that none of the people who make a neighborhood interesting can afford it anymore.

Noguchi museum and Socrates Scupture Park make a nice summer outing.
Menawhile, benson is in scungilli heaven in the restaurant thread. Benson, are you back or are your antennae that finely tuned?
