The ice coating over the snow was the strangest thing. I’ve never seen it before but it was thick and glossy, but when I broke off a piece it looked like lace. I had to go to an appointment and the day was sunny, so the coating sparkled, like the snow had a gloss varnish. Very beautiful
Much, much more remaining snow than in Manhattan! We had a Chinese New Year dinner on Saturday night in Chinatown with a bunch of Manhattanites from various neighborhoods and they were surprised when I told them how much is left here. Of course we had to scale the icy snow berms when we got home.
They closed off the west side of Nostrand yesterday, around Gates Ave, and were bulldozing snow from the street. They had both large dozers and those cute little ones that look like little robots, where the scoop goes over the cab, from front to back. They were dumping some in the street to melt, but hauling a lot of it away. Hopefully they were doing this all over yesterday. Its amazing how much there still is.
Sunday afternoon I was crossing Grand Army Plaza and I had my laptop with me. The light was against me and a jogger came up next to me and waited. the light turned green and he took off.
PING, I heard.
I looked down – a set of keys, obviously his. I yelled out, “Guy! Guy!” but he didn’t hear me (we both had headphones on).
So with my laptop I chased him halfway down the block of Union Street until I caught up with him.
As a non-superbowl watcher, I saw some of the rerun interview with John Gotti Jr. on 60 Minutes last night. He said that his 18-year-old daughter couldn’t get a boyfriend because all the potential suitors were afraid of the name.

How would you know, rob??? When’s the last time you ever had sex to completion without the guy leaving because of your plathering??
i think porn is way better than the real thing. actual sex is seriously over rated and i think i have the prettiest right hand in nyc!
*rob*
“I see you’ve been talking about me and my affinity for Mexican delivery.”
Not like you said, “Please don’t talk about me when I’ve gone.”
Lech, this is the daughter that wouldn’t listen to you at the park and you forced to drag her home? if so, she a chip off the old block
