benson, I’ll tell you what. I’ll give you the address of the building, you already have his name. Go in and have a friendly talk with him. Then you can straighten out his racist bullshit, and apologize to me at the same time.
Cuz I hear racist bullshit like this all day long. Who lives where is immaterial to the story. It’s the attitude of this gentlemen that I was speaking about. I’m sure he could be wrong about Russians, Chinese, South Asians, etc. Often people like this don’t know the difference.
“My daughter has 3 or 4 “dothead” friends from Brooklyn Tech who live in Gravesend.”
You know what, Rf, I’m going to call you on your bullshit, just like I did with Denton.
I’m curious, Rf, how you would know that your daughter has 3 or 4 “dothead” friends that live in Gravesend. Is that how your daughter identified them to you (“Hey mom, these 3 people live in Gravesend”). I went to high school in Manhattan and had friends from all over the city. I never remember telling my folks: “Here is Jose, who lives in Corona”. At best, I would just tell them “He’s from Queens”, and I think that is pretty typical of what a HS’er would say.
Perhaps you drove them to Gravesend? If so, could you please let us know the nearest intersection to where they live, since you would know that.
Most likely, however, it was bullshit. You were just trying to help Denton out with his bullshit.
no benson, it was more related to the ‘conservative’ comment, it just reminded me of this story. I really don’t know who lives in Gravesend, and the fact that he was Italian was not the point of the story, it’s the fact that he’s a trade unionist related to electricians.
Did you get up on the wrong side of the bed today? First, you state that I don’t know union members, then you try to bait me with that story above (using facts related to who I am).
Anyway, not falling for it.
Also, I am suspicious of your story above, because blacks and “dotheads” have not been moving into Gravesend. Rather, Chinese and Russians have.

But I’m pretty sure he didn’t vote for Obama.
Whatever, Benson, just what I know.

Chinese BEEN in Gravesend. they “started” moving in around late 80’s to early 90s.
Benson’s blood is like liquid nitrogen. It boils at room temperature.

RF and all;
If the census data is not enough to back up the point I just made, I’ll offer to drive anyone around Gravesend to see what the demographics are.
