None of the articles I read stated who committed the violent acts against the Asian student. The case was not just about violence towards the student, but included discrimination against Asian students by school administration the impacted the students education.

It’s really rotten that alt side is back in effect & people are having incredibly difficult times digging out & then nothing is done on the street & trying to park again afterwards is next to impossible.
