People are free to choose what they want to discuss or not, on the OT. That’s the beauty of it. What’s not ok is to stop others from doing so. I think there have been many occasions where the conversations have gone beyond the level we would respect, and I can say that there have been times when one or another of us have changed minds or at least gotten someone to rethink a position. The fact that many of us have met and become friends offline simply expands the conversations we have here. For good or bad.

ASSISTANCE NEEDED IN THE GLASS AISLE!!!

Anyone have an idea where I can get nice, everyday style drinkware to replace my old glasses? I’ve looked online at Target and Ikea and I’m not liking what I see. I want something simple, at least 16oz and preferably in sets of 8. Oh, and keep in mind I’m a cheapie. Any suggestions for local stores I could look at?

I agree, cobble. I doubt Chanel was unaware of what she was doing- even going so far as to use the Aryan laws to take businesses from Jewish owners.Anyone who possibly believed this was ok on any level is really not a human being.
