Economy only gained 37k jobs but they are talking about the unemployment dropping to 9% Don’t these clowns know that people have given up on unemployment, unemployment has run out, people have taken jobs below their standard of living just to get by etc… The true unemployment rate has to be close to 20%
This stock market is on steroids and is pushing new highs, get ready for a pullback.
Sorry for the rant, I’ll get off the soapbox now.
I am hoping that Verizon being in the I-phone game will take the pressure off AT&T and balance the networks out. Hopefully not have everyone rush over to Verizon and have that network totally overloaded.
What’s up OT? I am about to head out on an epic work project that will see me traveling almost constantly for the next two months!
rf posted here a few weeks ago about the prepaid Virgin Mobile phones she and her daughter have. She gave me some good additional info via email and I ended up getting one. The plans are dirt cheap (a bit more each month for a Blackberry, which I have) and the service has been perfectly fine.
I was on the phone with someone who has an iPhone/AT&T and lives in a major US tech city. His phone dropped me 3 times last night. AT&T really needs to get it together.
Good luck with the project, wasder! I would love to hear about it sometime.
Meanwhile, does the OT have a government this morning? Situation was pretty fluid when I signed off yesterday.

Thanks rf!
So now that everyone is jumping to Verizon will my AT&T service get better?
Cell service is much better and cheaper in Asia. Plus, they’ve always been able to use their phones anywhere in the world.
Except japan.
