Legion, I agree although I mostly posted that as a joke. Draughtsmanship is totally missing from modern art and one thing his critics can’t take away is that he has real skill there.
In truth my favorite painter is Stanley Spencer, his “Christ in the Wilderness” series is beyond haunting. My favorite one of them (“The Scorpion” where Jesus holds one in his hand contemplating it) is in Perth, Australia and is on my bucket list.

I recognize Rockwell’s works, and I’ve been to the museum in Stockbridge, MA, but I’ve never been a big fan.
