Art schmart. It’s all just decoration. You’re either an interior decorator or an exterior decorator. “Artist” is so pompous.

I’ve never spent a lot of time and energy on art, but sometimes notice artists / works I really admire or relate to, & who don’t seem to be the most talked about.
Phoebe Traquair (murals & tapestries, “the Progress of the Soul” is my favorite)
Hammershoi (simple elegant calming paintings with great light)
Fantin-Latour (beautiful detailed still lifes)
Not a big Rockwell fan, but it is certainly art.
