I used to fly out of Newark a lot. I could there super fast but I was catching 6:30 or 8 AM flights which meant FLYING over the brooklyn bridge and thru the Holland Tunnel. I drove myself and could get there in 20 minutes. I love driving thru the city then. Totally empty, like a Will Smith movie.
And then usually home via the Verrazano.
But this only works if you get that first flight of the morning.
The Frick is $18 – that seems like a total rip-off compared to other museums in the city.
They do have “pay-as-you-wish” between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m on Sundays.
