“If you are going to take a cab to Newark from Brooklyn, it is much better to go through the Verrazano Bridge and through Staten Island, even with the toll of the former. Much faster. Newark Airport is just off the Goethals bridge, so it is a quick ride through Staten Island.”
Yes, NY Dolls is on Murray Street, on hallowed ground, a couple of doors up from the erstwhile Burlington Coat Factory and proposed Islamic Cultural Center (mosque).
One of the benefits we received when I was with AT&T Bell Labs was free admission to most of the major NYC museums. AT&T used to donate alot of money to these institutions and hence its employees were provided this benefit.
Yes…Legion, the Frick is one of those Robber Baron mansions turned museum. I love that place. I think it is the perfect, human size for a museum, an amazing collection in gorgeouos surroundings. When you go with somebody, it is nice to stop and hang out a little and talk and you can do that there — by the central court and water fountain. It never seems to get super crowded. It’s never open late though.

Near the NE corner of West Broadway.
You’re impressed that I know where Dolls is??? I know my strip clubs. You’d be surprised at the breadth and depth of my knowledge.
