ishtar- yes it does. Witness the laws in OKLA where women are required (not sure if this bill has passed or not yet) to have vaginal ultrasounds if they want abortions.) State mandated rape is what it is. Vaginal ultrasounds are unpleasant- to say the least, and intrusive.
The continued discussion of abortion rights (and gay rights) is this country is very telling. It shows how stunted our collective thinking is. Also contradicts conservative ideology regarding government size and reach.
The one thing I can agree with those otherwise retrograde thinkers. No doubt that malpractice is out of control when an OBGyn pays, what, 100k in insurance? There should be no way you can sue except for true and demonstrated negligence, not when things screw up because medicine is not always predictable.
DIBS, plus suing a bunch of lawyers in the event of default is a huge pain and likely fruitless outcome. One deals with lawyers when one HAS NO CHOICE. In this situation, Chinaman has choice hence will definitely not be buying those crappy uncollateralized bonds
benson, yes, remember such monsoon washouts from India. Used to drive a motorcycle then and it was quite exhilarating (of course, being a teenager helped)
The same exact thing happened to me when my daughter was in elementary school. Only in that case, they advised that we consider an “in-home consultation” with an “educational specialist”. We fell for it, and it turned out that the “educational specialist” was an encyclopedia salesman!!! Oh what a joy that was!!

CMU- i actually agree with that too, but I find it odd that this and abortion are their first priorities rather than ensuring people have healthcare.

>GOP…is to first worry about malpractice suits

DIBS, lawyers dont buy enough Made In China stuff for us to buy their bonds.
I bet all those Post-It “Sign Here” stick ons are all made in China.
