jessi of the three people i knew well who were on it.. they were all severely depressed and wound up being super lethargic. they were also on tons of other medications, two of them were on hardcore antipsychotic medications as well.. im sure it works for some people tho, obviously it has to.. actually now that i think about it i know 5 people who were on it. all 5 of them were batshit insane tho. i was a lunatic magnet for a very long time which is why im a very guarded and chary person these days..

I had a similar incident in Hawaii (the Big Island).
Went to see the Green Sand beach on a beautiful day.
Of course, the fact that half the island is a volcanic desert while the other half is a tropical rain forest due to Mono Loa, escaped my last minute planning.
My wife and I hit the road back to the “desert side” late at night in a light rain. Half an hour into the ride, near Hilo, it became a Monsoon like storm. Picture someone standing on the top of your car pouring bucket after bucket of water on your windshild on a winding road in pitch black conditions. My hands were numb after the “longest” ride of my life.

I didn’t catch Doug Shoen’s article. I agree that the country will be watching the Christie approach vs. the Brown approach. Cuomo seems to have morphed into a Democrat with a Republican accountant. I’m waiting to see the fireworks start between Cuomo and the Education and Healthcare Unions, the two largest components of our state budget. Watch for TV commercials in which the teacher’s unions call for zero cuts despite the fact that there is no money to pay for business as usual.

Verizon came over. They said DSL connection was ‘optimized’ before, which meant it was set slower due to line problems, an interesting reversal of the word. It is now un-optimized and 2x faster! FIoS not available yet…does anyone have it?
