“Lechacal, is there an issue there with hunters? I know people in exurban houses on the edge of the woods who have to keep the kids inside during the hunting season because of idiots with guns.”
I’m sure people hunt the property, which is fine with me. From experience I know better than to fight that battle as an absentee landlord. Better to have local hunters who like using the property look out for your interests when you’re not away than to be some New Yorker asshole who is always telling people to get off the property. As far as safety is concerned, the property isn’t abutted by any residential lots so it shouldn’t be a problem.
I thought you could only double park during street sweeping when it’s safe to do so. Blocking the bike lane isn’t safe. It’s a hazard for cyclist and motorist.
Correct. None of this is legal. And it is very dangerous.
The hunting lodge my brothers and I own, there’s a constant issue with trespassing. Our road in is way better than the public access to the pond. Chains, signs, nothing helps. Signs of redneckism (empty beer cans, guns shooting off randomly) is our last hope, but that’s not in our blood.
The bike lane is covered in snow – no way in hell a bike can use it. Only the center of the street is usable by anything on wheels except a garbage truck or bigger.
What if I post the following sign around the property:
TRESPASSERS WILL BE PWNED

Rf;
I do not think it was an appropriate remark.
Nor do I think it is appropriate to use the remark to try to smear Christians.

Benson, do you think that was an appropriate remark? Here’s the Yahoo story:

I think it’s pretty horrifying.
