Anyways, I already solved all of the problems in the hood. Give everyone more guns. So that means I have completely solved:
1. Global warming (cut down trees and ship them to the desert)
2. Racism (fuck people who don’t look like you)
3. Inner city race / class warfare (more guns)
I am a fucking genius.
This is awesome. A bunch of middle class white people fixing all of the problems of black people in the hood. Did I get lost and end up in a park slope coop meeting?
What does that have to do with it? Lots of white people from working class backgrounds here as well when you go back a generation or two.
Was thinking about e.g. Kens’ mom working as a cleaner
when they first moved here, or Rob’s grandfather working away from the family during the week as a security guard, etc..

“endanger” is an awfully vague term. i’d say the finance world has “endangered” alot more people across the country than teenagers in fort greene at basketball games.

yeah – because the gap between the rich and poor in this country (especially NYC) hasn’t grown exponentially in the past 20 years or anything. cost of living hasn’t skyrocketed. rich people don’t move into neighborhoods because they’re “pretty” and have low taxes while sending their kids to private school and contributing absolutely nothing except wining about lack of good grocery stores or restaurants.

Sure etson, most posters are WHITE. The few afam posters here, did it ever occur to you that their grandparents/ ggp were slaves?

On another topic – alt side in effect tomorrow. Old Faithful (a.k.a. neighbor’s 27 yr old VW bus) started up first time after 5 weeks idle. And I spent 2 hours this aft shoveling out. Easy shovel job but nasty chore since passing vehicles sprayed melt in pot holes all over me – came in cold & soaked to the skin – literally, underwear was dripping. And not in a good way.
