Okay, what job are you supposed to get in NYC if you haven’t finished high school? People with law degrees here can’t even get work.
I did the bottle trick driving down Storrow Drive in Boston once. I was going to a night club at the time. I tell you what, Storrow Drive is a very windy road.
Used to show it on TV fairly regularly when I was a young kid & allowed to stay up late on weekends. Also The Towering Inferno and the Airport movies (’75, ’77 and ’80? The ones that Airplane was a skit of).

Thanks, dona, for checking with the high school and the precinct. That’s helpful — if not entirely reassuring — information.

LOVE The Towering Inferno – still. And the first Airport was great, but I had a thing for ’77 (the crash in the Bermuda Triangle – fantastic cast).
PB, you left Earthquake! and The Poseidon Adventure off your list.

Don’t watch movies any more.

You got it Jesse. It’s called despair, knowing there are no effin’ jobs anywhere.
