There was about 8 inches of very fluffy snow on the van this morning. Drove kid to school. I noticed that sidewalks around parks and other city property were shoveled–I was impressed! But of course people walking in the street because sidewalks were hit-or-miss.
am at work. other than 2 other people, office is empty. half of the usual folks here live in Manhattan so their absence is BS. the ones from LI is understandable.
gem…taking the train to Philly tonight and then flying from Philly to manchester, NH tomorrow morning.
Friends in Manchester are getting about 8″ (Boston is what’s really getting socked) and say the airport has remained open and flights are in and out. They know how to deal with it better up there as one might expect.

right, some people put way too much salt down. Will only degrade your stoop, sidewalk.

Headed to a conference at the NY Palace Hotel this afternoon.

I like your block. A bunch of nice small condo developments there. Are you in one of those developments?
