That’s horrible rf. I am glad she is ok.
I shoveled a two foot side swath in the fluffy stuff on my sidewalks and got a little path on the front steps and from the downstairs to the sidewalk. That’s it. I did it in less than 10 minutes.
The city was going overboard after the criticism for the other snowstorm. They made the express trains 4/5 go local last night, I guess to take them off the tracks up north, but there was NO SNOW at 8:30 pm. It took me forever to get home jammed into a steaming train.
My wife made the mistake of going to Parkmark last night for routine shopping. It was even more screwed up there than usual – took her 25 minutes just to check out.

I once called Action Jackson out on his rants in a post about some new development in Greenwood Hts/South Slope.
I have lived in south slope since 2003 and so many of the original houses are as I say shanty shacks OR are nice old wooden framed houses – but many houses are in disrepair or were “renovated” in the 80’s&90’s when people were using siding and weird materials that imo look cheap – but what are you gonna do? Most blocks out here are hodge podge. I do like living amongst the old timers. My husband actually shoveled out an old guy last night whose car was stuck on a snow mound. The guy brought out a shot of Jameson for my husband. I told my husband every good Irish household has a bottle of Jameson on standby.
and i think last night was the first time i ever grocery shopped before a snow storm, totally random. wtf? associated was PACKED. people were like a bunch of savages hoarding everything from the milk aisle!

Wake me up when it’s spring.

Margaret Whitton, I know. Margaret Whiting, no clue.
8″ they said in Central Park, it feels more like 4 or 5.
Yes, *rob*, we have vending machines. And I deliberately used their word “campuses” which is not exactly how I would describe our office buildings.
rf,
Very glad to hear your daughter is ok after that horrible incident.
