I think I’ll tell my wife she can have her old house if she signs up to dealing with all the crap for the 1st 1.5 yrs. all repairs, all snow shoveling, all the taking out of trash, recycables, etc. after that, I’ll take care of it. She needs a reality check big.
Donatella, maybe I should volunteer her to deal with your snow and other stuff so she can get a dose of it now and then have her tell me it’s no sweat.
didn’t you notice after the last blizzard like 2-3 days later the shelves even at bodegas were bare? it’s b/c when the roads aren’t plowed, food delivery trucks can’t get through with fresh food – so people try to go out before the store to get provisions!
“people were like a bunch of savages hoarding everything from the milk aisle”
I know, *rob*. It’s like if they don’t get to the store for 1 day because of a snow storm – which is highly unlikely since delis, bodegas, etc. never close in the city – they will starve to death.
“BINGO! it’s like you LAZY ass fucks, if you own a business that doesnt open til you get your lazy ass out of bed that is no excuse when it snows, get your lazy ass out of bed and shovel the front of your business!!! im shocked more people don’t sue those kinds of places when they fall and the contents of their bags go splatter all over the slush and ice!
*rob*”
Well isn’t there a law that you have to shovel your walkway within 4 hours after the snow has stopped or something like that. So they really should be out there early in the morning!!!
jackal, did you end up waiting for a car last night, or did you brave it home by subway?
“half of the usual folks here live in Manhattan so their absence is BS”
Totally agree m4l. Particularly since NYC schools are open, so it’s not like people have to be home with their kids today.
rf did she get the license? crazy they just sped away like that, tho not really all that surprising.

Pete, I knew office would be empty and no mtg till 11am. So it wasn’t being a wuss but rather SMART (as can be expected of a CHINAMAN).
