Palin seems to be trying to score political points herself.And there is real reason to accuse the Tea Party of racism creating an atmosphere where real discourse is next to impossible by their language. That’s exactly what Palin was doing. I don’t blame her for the shooting, I blame her for helping create an atmosphere of anger and violence.

I appreciate that someone asks a straight, non tin-hat question, and so it deserves a response.
What I like about Sarah Palin is simple: she believes in American Exceptionalism, unabashadly. I’m not saying that that is enought for me to choose her for President, but it her straightforward convictions remind me of Ronald Reagan. Like Palin, Reagan was accused of being a knucklehead.
