When I search for my name on google, the first response is my Facebook page and the 3rd is my LinkedIn page, but the rest all about a soccer coach in Illinois.
i was not a Van fan but then a former boyfriend of mine gave Astral Weeks to me as he dumped me, which was consistent with his narcissistic personality. of course, i was left to mourn while i listened to it over and over, which i’m sure is what what he wanted. we broke up because he finally had to admit he was still married. he tried to come back of course, but no dice, despite the album-induced nostalgia for our relationship.
You know, I really hate it when folks put words in my mouth.
Let me start with Denton, who thinks he was so clever swinging his e-dick at me above.
Denton: why don’t you go back and look at what I wrote before being a prick about it. I was reporting what others had said, and even referenced a written article. I said that I have no specialized knowledge in this field. You did well on Nvidia? Good for you – now don’t put words in my mouth.
Montrose and Donatella: I never said that Ameican Exceptionalism means that the US is always right. Please see what I wrote above. It is a basic faith in the goodness of this country. That is in contrast to “bad faith”, as explained in this excellent article by Shelby Steele:
“Cgar, I used to think I know where you work (McDs) but freakin Pete had to even kill that notion telling me you got promoted to Manage one of the White Castles”
I wish Pete hadn’t said that. I was planning to mention my new job when the time comes.
NYC Public Schools have only closed SIX times since 1978. Teachers and other staff have difficulty getting to work, classes are blended and the days tend to be chaotic. Just about every private and parochial school closes so, why keep the publics open???
My post. Seems like it’s all the high-charters. The horn, the backup singers, the syncopated drum in “Healed” – yikes. But “And It Stoned Me” is my all-time fav so I’m partial.
CGar

Yo, more onions and extra cheese CGar. Hook me up.
