Having driven back from PA to NYC on 12/27, I can attest that NJ TPKE was totally clear and dry, all lanes, all the way to Outerbridge. Philly — not so much trouble there. Mayor D or R there?

Before making any offers up there I think I will do a dry run commute. It will go something like this:
1. Take super crazy early train up to Dobbs Ferry or Irvington.
2. Grab a cup of coffee.
3. Take back to the city whatever train I think I would end up taking if I lived there.
