  1. Before making any offers up there I think I will do a dry run commute. It will go something like this:

    1. Take super crazy early train up to Dobbs Ferry or Irvington.

    2. Grab a cup of coffee.

    3. Take back to the city whatever train I think I would end up taking if I lived there.

Maybe tomorrow morning would be a good time to do this, what with the snow and all.

  2. benson, there were issues with the clean up in NJ, but it doesn’t matter. Unless Christie was expected to drive a plow and shovel snow, I don’t see how his location matters all that much. This isn’t 1910. We have mobile phones, laptops, and the interwebs. We can work from almost anywhere.

  3. Yes, Pete’s right. NYC – republican in charge during snowstorm, disaster. NJ — republicans on vacation, democrat runs the show, not so bad. Having driven back from PA to NYC on 12/27, I can attest that NJ TPKE was totally clear and dry, all lanes, all the way to Outerbridge. Philly — not so much trouble there. Mayor D or R there?
