ET I would love to go to Louis Armstrong’s place in Queens. (I have never been to the Queens museum either and seen the special replica of NY) Louis Armstrong’s place is supposed to be a brick unattached house, very fancy in a 1950s sort of (tacky?) way, lots of mirrors, plastic slipcovers, but cool because it is Louis Armstrongs place. This is what I read somewhere.
Cat ladies: My cat has taken to pissing on soft objects located near the front door, on or next to a sideboard table. What gives. Cat piss is horendous. I don’t think its a UTI because its happening sporadically, anywhere from 1 to 3 times a month. I can’t stand this. Many things, including the sideboard table, have been ruined.
I have nothing against Queens per se, and there are plenty of places in Queens that I enjoy. My only point is that Brooklyn is my chosen outerborough to live, and, in case you haven’t figured it out from where I look for apartments and houses, someone would be very hard-pressed to pry me out of Brooklyn Heights-Cobble Hill is all.
On the strange rash of bird deaths…
could this have to do with a change in magnetic poles?
They say it happens every 10,000 years and
we’re due.
Causes massive havoc.
“My car was towed. It was parked on the crosswalk which became visible yesterday, enough to guide the towtruck.
Picked it up this morning. 206 dollars.”
parking in crosswalks is illegal! you’re all for enforcing traffic rules cut and dry with cyclists, but not with cars? typical!!
Snappy- if you’re still looking for a storage container check the ones at PetEdge.com. They look a bit thinner than the one you showed and taller.
M4L, yes, the Navy yard.

2012 is when the Mayan Calendar stops.
dibs,
have you gotten one of these annoying pink slops from Sanitation,
funny, it says $50 for the “first offense”
but they always circle $100-$200.

“…I see exptext likes Queens too. ;)”
I like to get around.
The tow pound has improved alot. It used to be NYC’s version of Devil’s Island.
“One of the small jewels of NYC, imho.”
