can’t tell if youre making a joke or being serious. but yeah, sports figures arent role models if they are just on the tv. most of them are pretty dysfunctional to begin with. i cringe a bit when people say Obama is a role model… it doesn’t exactly work that way you know. tho when you think about the whole notion of role models is absurd if you are able to self-actualize by the time you are a teenager anyway. i mean cher and hello kitty were some of my role models but it’s not like the goal in my life was become them… i think that’s where people are led astray.
at around 12 or 13 years old kids need to be told one thing: wake the fuck up, you aren’t a child anymore. that’s how good adults are made. i can’t be the only one who is disturbed by 30 something year olds who are still in permanent adolescent mode, am i?

See my previous posts. I think she seems to have amazing potential, but that she needs more time to mature. Or, she just is a great cheerleader; not a quarterback. I honestly don’t know yet.
But what I do honestly know is that people who think she is stupid probably thought Goldwater, and Reagan were also stupid, and that conservatives are evil. These are the same people who think our current President is “brilliant.” Whatever.

As I said, I admire her, I think she is brilliant (in a kind of right-brained way), but I hope she doesn’t run until 2012. She could be the next Maggie Thatcher then.
