Those aren’t the aspects I’m commenting on, rf. But Rob knows what I mean. He isn’t taking responsibility for something/a particular thing in his life, and he needs to. It will help him immeasurably.
I’m as liberal as you can get & thought: Goldwater was very smart but evil; Reagan was stupid & probably already a victim of alzheimer’s the whole time he was in office but had good support staff; Bush One was the coward on the 2nd graade playground & Bush 2 had burned his brains out on drugs & alcohol in college & was the pawn of the evil gerontocracy of Cheney et al.
And, yes, I think Obama’s brilliant & Sarah Palin is extremely bright (but whack-o).
BC, I think you’re letting something about Palin confuse your judgment. Potential is a very amorphous statement. I think some people are mistaking her brash enthusiasm for actual possible ability. I’d be excited and enthusiastic/perky if people started throwing money at me,too!
Brooklyn Couch. Ok. Leave it at that. Most people think that Sarah Palin has star quality and an ability to tap into a populist psychology. You admire her. You think she needs to learn more, etc.
Why not leave it at that? You weaken your arguments when you start indescriminately swinging at lefties.
BTW, rob is right. You have to learn how to do “quotes”. If you want to respond to a post, then you have to copy the quote of the person you are responding to. What you are doing is typing under a person’s name, making it look like that person made YOUR comments.
Cobble, I don’t know if that’s fair to say about Rob. He is supporting himself and his dog, not on public assistance, gets himself to work and back every day. Not that I would want to cite him as a role model!

Clearly YOU HAVE, Rob. Come back.

Sarah’s status is a cultural commentary.
