I live across the street from the Mosque on Atlantic between 3rd and 4th, and can hear the prayer calls.
I read some stuff saying that the people there were investigated after 9/11, but seem to have been clean for a while.
They apparently did support radicals in Afghanistan back during the Regan era, when they were our allies against the Russians.
The people all seem nice enough to me, but who knows what what other agendas anybody really has.

You know…it’s so simple, it might just work!
Last year, on the few unfortunate occasions when I found myself standing in line to pick up a package at the USPS, would turn to the person behind me and say (for real): “And this is the organization that you want to run our health-care system?”

How to solve the Terrorist threat problem and the USPS economic problem in one move:
Send all suspected terrorists, organizations and their minions styrofoam packages via USPS.
The cost of mailings will put the USPS in the black again while the miscreants will be too busy waiting in line for styrofoam packages to plot any mischief.
