Question,
what’s the best thing to do when you work in several places
and somebody gives you a card for the holidays that you forgot to take care of?
Would cash in hand be a faux pas?
My nervous system can’t handle certain things. The Adelphi street Post Office is just over the top. I don’t know if these workers go to Hostility School or what. But I would rather pay a little more to send something Fedex Ground. And if somebody sends to you UPS or FEDEX ground it isn’t much more money. Also, big secret. USPS lies. I have sent stuff next day delivery to people who were home the entire day waiting for the delivery which never got there. USPS says…we rang, nobody home.
If you talk to anyone in the know in law-enforcement, they will all tell you tht the area around Atlantic and Flatbush is one of the hotbeds of Islamist-type activities in the US. Remember that blind sheikh with the santa hat who was convicted in the first WTC attack? He operated out of that area.
dibs,
I was in line at the post office today for like 13 hours.
Of course, like the subway, you are a captive audience, so I had to stand there and listen to one person after another yelling and ranting about how nobody rang their bell to leave the parcel and now they have to wait in line at the post office with a pink slip to pick up the damned parcel!
The entire time I alternated between thoughts of placing my head in an oven like the toy one my sisters used to bake cakes in with a 100 watt light bulb
and
the idea that, if you want to torture somebody this season, just send them a box of styrofoam and make them wait in line for it.
A woman I knew in college claimed to not know who Harrison Ford was. One morning I found her rummaging through my garbage. Never did get an explanation.

“Bxgrl, MM, Cobble, Arkady: man your stations.”
I think Tootsie would be a better candidate for “manning” the stations! : P (Ok, that was bad, sorrry!)
